THE Black Swan Inn at Culgaith, near Penrith, has been sold for an undisclosed sum.
The specialist hotels and licensed property real estate advisor Colliers International had been asking £475,000 for the propertry.
The buyers are Stephen and Jacqueline Harvey who live locally at Stainton, near Penrith.
The Black Swan Inn offers seven en-suite letting bedrooms, a 36-cover restaurant, bar area and two-bed owners’ flat.
Haydn Spedding, associate director with Colliers International, said: “Our sale of The Black Swan Inn provides further evidence of ongoing confidence among buyers in the Cumbria hospitality market, with recent research by Cumbria Tourism highlighting excellent levels of room occupancy throughout the county.”
