A plot of land close to a Cumbrian beauty spot with planning approval for eight homes, has gone on the market.
Savills Manchester is handling the sale of the prime residential site near the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The 0.45 hectares site is next to St Anthony’s Close in the village of Milnthorpe is being offered for sale by informal tender.
Berit Rose, associate in the development team at Savills Manchester, said: “Located in an attractive setting surrounded by open countryside, the site benefits from unspoilt, long distance views towards Farleton Knott, which the successful purchaser will be able to exploit due to the topography of the site.
“Due to its location close to the sought after Lake District National Park yet within easy reach of Milnthorpe and its amenities, the neighbouring towns of Kendal and Lancaster and the region’s motorway network, we anticipate a huge amount of interest from both local and national developers.”
