PUBLIC PATH NOTICE THE LAKE DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY (FOOTPATHS AND BRIDLEWAYS IN GRIZEDALE FOREST, BROUGHTON MOOR, WHINLATTER FOREST AND WYTHOP WOODS) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS GIVEN
that under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Lake District National Park Authority made an order dated 6 November 2018, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic from proceeding along r
outes in Grizedale Forest, Broughton Moor, Whinlatter Forest and Wythop Woods, because of danger to the public from fast moving vehicles during motor sports events.
The affected routes can be seen on the plans available from the Authority on 01539 724555, or on our website: www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/rowclosures. The order took effect on 1 December 2018. Paths will be closed at Grizedale, Whinlatter and Broughton Moor on Saturday 9 March 2019 (midnight to midnight) to allow Malcolm Wilson Rally to take place.
All the routes will be accessible as normal other than on this day. At times when the event is taking place, signs will be erected indicating the routes that are closed.
