THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (US679 KENTS BANK ROAD, GRANGE-OVER-SANDS) (TEMPORARY NO

WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME, TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable T & Gallaghers to carry out utility works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time, on any day or to load/unload at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders), along the north-west side of the U5679 Kents Bank Road, Grange-over-Sands from a point approx. 100m north east of its junction with Cross Street, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 30m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable T & Gallaghers to carry out utility works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time, on any day or to load/unload at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders), along the north-west side of the U5679 Kents Bank Road, Grange-over-Sands from a point approx. 100m north east of its junction with Cross Street, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 30m.

Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:

1. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

2. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and



3. Apply to vehicles being used in connection with the Works. Any queries to Cumbria Highways, Busher Walk, County Offices, Kendal, LA9 4RQ (0300 303 2992) quoting reference SLI8/640S. The Order will come into operation on 2 July 2018 and may continue in force for a period of up to eighteen months from that date as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 3 day.
