NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to facilitate the Ambleside Lantern and Father Christmas Parade the South Lakeland District Council has made

the under-mentioned Order. THE DIVERSION OF TRAFFIC, AMBLESIDE (AMBLESIDE LANTERN AND FATHER CHRISTMAS PARADE) ORDER 2017 THE DISTRICT COUNCIL of SOUTH LAKELAND in the County of Cumbria under and by virtue of the powers contained in Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 DO HEREBY ORDER THAT:-Those streets in Ambleside specified in the

Schedule hereto shall be closed to all vehicles save those vehicles involved in the Ambleside Lantern and Father Christmas Parade and

emergency vehicles during the period 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm on Saturday 18 November 2017. THIS ORDER may be cited as "The Diversion of Traffic, Ambleside (Ambleside Lantern and Father Christmas Parade) Order 2017".

Compston Road (from the three-way junction with Rothay Road/Kelsick Road/Church Street to the junction with Rydal Road), Rydal Road (from the

junction with Compston Road to the junction with

Lake Road), Lake Road including Market Place

(from the junction with Rydal Road to the junction with Church Street), Church Street (from the junction with Lake Road to the three-way junction
