This notice is given pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925. Notice is hereby given that the directors of FMC Chemicals Pension Plan Limited, the sole corporate trustee of the FMC Chemicals Pension Plan (the "Trustees"), are intending to wind up the FMC Chemicals Pension Plan (the "Plan") and distribute its assets to provide benefits for and in respect of members in accordance with the Plan Rules. The employer in relation to the Plan is FMC Chemicals Limited (previously known as FMC Chemical Corporation (UK) Limited).

The Plan relates only to benefits accrued before 31 December 2009, when the Plan was closed to accrual. Unless they fall into one of the categories described below, any persons having a claim or interest in the Plan are required to send particulars in writing of such claim or interest, together with details of their full name, address and date of birth, to FMC Chemicals Pension Plan Limited c/o Michelle Hall, FMC Chemicals Ltd, Wirral International Business Park, Commercial Road, Bromborough, Wirral, CH62 3NL no later than 2 months from the date of this notice. In order to ensure that the Trustees receive notice of any such particulars, the Trustees recommend that particulars of any claims are sent by a guaranteed delivery method.

2 months from the date of this notice.

After the expiry of the two month period referred to above, the Trustees will distribute the remaining Plan assets in accordance with the Plan Rules to provide benefits for the members and any other persons entitled to benefits, having regard only to claims and interests of which they have had notice. The Trustees will not, after proceeding in that manner, be liable to any person of whose claim or interest they have not had notice.

The Trustees note that persons who may be entitled to benefits under the Plan may include former members of the following predecessor schemes: the Lithium Corporation of Europe Ltd Retirement Benefits Scheme, the FMC No.1 Pension Scheme (previously known as the FMC Corporation (UK) Pension Plan) and/or the FMC No.2 Pension Scheme (itself later known as the FMC Corporation (UK) Pension Plan). Current members of these predecessor schemes, where still in existence, are not affected.

Please note that you do not need to contact the Trustees in relation to this notice if you fall into one of the following categories:

-you have already been notified of the proposal to wind up the Plan by the Trustees, or

- you are already receiving a pension from the Plan, or



- you have made a claim for benefits from the Plan and received a response.
