(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS
HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME -
Lowe St, Radcliffe - South side, from a point 10 m west of the easterly kerbline of Lever St to a point 10 m east of the easterly kerbline of Pilkington Rd

Pilkington Rd, Radcliffe - East side, from a point 20 m south of the southerly kerbline of Lowe St to a point 16 m north of the northerly kerbline of Coronation Rd West side from a point 10 m north of the northerly kerbline of Colshaw Close East to a point 10 m south of the southerly kerbline of Colshaw Close East East side from a point 10 m north of the northerly kerbline of Park Grove to a point 10 m south of the southerly kerbline of Park Grove West side from a point 10 m north of the northerly kerbline of Stainton Close to a point 10 m south of the southerly kerbline of Stainton Close

Colshaw Close East, Radcliffe - both sides, from the westerly kerbline of Pilkington Rd for a distance of 10 m in a westerly direction

Park Grove, Radcliffe
- both sides, from the easterly kerbline of Pilkington Rd for a distance of 10 m in an easterly direction

Stainton Close, Radcliffe
- both sides, from the westerly kerbline of Pilkington Rd for a distance of 10 m in a westerly direction

Details of the proposals are in the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within them) with plans showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Orders. All representations whether in support or objecting to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 0EJ or by email to TROobjections@bury.gov.uk quoting reference TM2/22/532 by 17/02/23

Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1)
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY
(OPENSHAW FOLD RD, BURY)
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-

Openshaw Fold Rd, Bury at its junction with Warm Rd

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate water main replacement works.

There is no alternative route. However, access will be maintained when it is possible to do so.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 06 February 2023 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 2 weeks.

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY
(BUS LANE CONSOLIDATION, BURY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council has made the above named Order under sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, which will come into operation on 30 January 2023

The effect of the Order will be to revoke the following previous Bus Lane Orders in their entirety:-

The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Reserved Bus Lanes) (Amendment) Order 2010 The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A56 Manchester Road, Bury) (Reserved Bus Lane) (Amendment) Order 2007
The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A58 Bolton Road, Bury) (Reserved Bus Lane) (Peak Hours) Order 2006
The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A56 Manchester Road, Bury) (Reserved Bus Lane) (Peak Hours) Order 2004
The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A665 Bury Old Road, Prestwich) (Reserved Bus Lane) (Peak Hours) Order 2003
The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A56 Bury New Road, Whitefield) (Reserved Bus Lane Extension) Order 2002
The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A56 Bury New Road, Whitefield) (Reserved Bus Lane) Order 1998
The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A665 Bury Old Road, Prestwich) (Reserved Bus Lane) Order 1997
The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (A58 Rochdale Road, Bury) (Reserved Bus Lane) Order 1996

The new order will consolidate all the above orders into one Order.

Details and a copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained within them) with plans showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be requested by email (due to Covidl9 changes to standard procedures) by emailing traffic@bury.gov.uk

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained within it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 30 January 2023 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
