Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion Order Highways Act 1980, North Yorkshire County Council Public Footpath No. 25.70/16, Hall Farm, Norton-on-Derwent, Diversion Order 2022. The above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 was confirmed on 20/12/22. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the Public Footpath as follows: From GR SE7813 6969 in a grass pasture at Hall Farm, and running south west to GR SE7797 6944, will be diverted onto a new line from GR SE7813 6969 and running south south east, along a fence-line to GR SE7815 6957, through a pedestrian gate and then running west to GR SE7797 6944. Total distance of approximately 343 metres. A copy of the order as confirmed and the Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Malton Library, St Michael St, Malton, North Yorkshire until 08/03/23. The Order comes into force on the date on which the Authority certifies, in accordance with Section 119(3)(b) of the 1980 Act, that work to the new section of path, described in Part 2 of the Schedule, has been completed, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 25/01/23, make an application to the High Court. Notice of the making of a Definitive Map Modification Order, North Yorkshire County Council, Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, Public Footpath No. 25.94/39, South Back Lane (East), Terrington, The above Order, made on 20/12/22, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding a section of Public Footpath, from SE6722 7056 at the end of South Back Lane (East), parish of Terrington, and running generally east for approximately 77 metres to SE6730 7057. A copy of the Order as made and the Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Malton Library, St Michael St, Malton, North Yorkshire until 08/03/23. Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to CATO, Countryside Access Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD", no later than 08/3/23 stating the grounds on which it is made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State or part of it if the Authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 may itself confirm the Order or that part of the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, in whole or in part, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
