This consultation notice relates to the Hyndburn Local Plan, Pre Submission version covering Strategic Policies and Site Allocations.

The Council is inviting representations on a Pre Submission Local Plan Document which is supported by an evidence base of documents at

. The consultation period now runs from Friday 25 November 2022 to Wednesday 18 January 2023. The Pre Submission Local Plan is available for inspection at local libraries in Hyndburn.

This document allocates specific sites to meet needs for housing and employment, and sets out planning policies to support growth and conservation in Hyndburn. When adopted this document will be used to manage growth and change in Hyndburn over the next 15 years. The Pre Submission version has been prepared for statutory consultation in accordance with Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012).
