BRIDLEWAY 542041, DALE END BOATHOUSE, LAKES (GRASMERE) PARISH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS GIVEN that under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Secretary of State has extended the Order made by the Lake District National Park Authority dated 5 April 2022. The effect of the order is to prohibit all public traffic for all purposes from proceeding over bridleway 542041 alongside Dale End Boathouse, Grasmere Lakeshore (south) between NY 3368 0630 and NY 3372 0625, to enable works to take down and rebuild the boathouse.
The notice and plan showing the route concerned may be inspected during normal office or opening hours at the National Park Authority Offices, Wayfaring House, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7RL; at South Lakeland District Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, LA9 4DQ; and at Grasmere Tourist Information Centre, Red Bank Road, Grasmere, LA22 9SW; and online at www.lakedistrict. gov.uk/rowchanges.
The order has been extended until 15 May 2023, or when the works are completed if this is earlier. Signs are on site showing the closed path and the immediately adjacent alternative route. Authority Solicitor,
