(FOOTPATH NO.602013 IN THE PARISH OF DALTON-IN-FURNESS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Cumbria County Council on 30 November 2021, which became operative on 10 December 2021, because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a dangerous bridge and to allow repair works to be carried out ("the Works"), and which would otherwise expire on 10 June 2022

: has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 10 June 2023.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 602013 at Poaka Beck in the Parish of Dalton in Furness, between Grid References: 321897 473072 and 321938 473067. There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians. If the works have not been completed within the extension period, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the appropriate Minister.
