The county of cumbria (footpath no. 536213 in the parish of kendal) (temporary prohibition of pedestrians) order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Volkerstevin to carry out works to install flood defences along the riverside of the River Kent ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the entire length of Public Footpath No. 536213, over Jennings Bridge, in the Parish of
Kendal.

A suitable alternative route for pedestrians will be available along the edge of the River Kent, via Nether Bridge or Miller Bridge. Any queries to the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ or

The Order will come into operation on 4 April 2022 and may
continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date
