THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (C4026 BOWERHOUSE BANK, SANTON BRIDGE AND C4030 ESKDALE GREEN) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable BT Openreach to carry out utility works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following lengths of road:
1. C4026 Bowerhouse Bank, Santon Bridge from its {unction with the C4025, extending in a south easterly direction for approx 3km.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C4026, C5007. A595 and the C4025.
Duration: From 4 October 2021 for approx. 2 nights between 2100 hours and 0600 hours (Ret C021-224)
2. C4030 Eskdale Green - For its entire length. Alternative Route: via the C4025 and C4026.

Duration: From 6 October 2021 for approx. I night between 2100 hours and 0600 hours (Ref: C021-225)
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
(i) Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and

(ii) Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

(iii)Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the road, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the road; and

The Order will come into operation on 4 October 2021 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as stated above and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
