HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO 119002 PARISH OF IRTHINGTON) PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2020

The above named Order made on 10 November 2020 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will extinguish the full width and length of public footpath no 119002 in the parish of Irthington extending approx. 687 metres from The Rigg at GR 349900 561728 west southwards through field to its junction with BW 119001 at GR 349240 561561. Copies of the Order and map will be available to view at Brampton Post Office, 5 Front Street, Brampton, Carlisle. Any supporting statements or objections with respect to the Order can be sent in writing to the Countryside Access Team, (by post or email as addresses above) to be received not later than 11 December 2020 and should state the grounds on which they are made.

If no objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn the Cumbria County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State any objections which have not been withdrawn will be submitted with the Order. Chief Legal Officer -
