THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (C5I08 KENDAL ROAD, STAVELEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Network Kail to carry out essential crossing works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists) from proceeding along that section of the C5I08 Kendal Road. Staveley from a point approx. 95m north west of its junction with the A59I, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 80m.
A suitable alternative route will be available via the unrestricted sections of the C50I8 Kendal Road, C5I08 Main Street, C5I08 Windermere Road and the A59I. Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

2. Apply to personnel or vehicles being used in connection with the Works.

However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for I night between midnight and 0800 hours and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
