THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (C2060 LESSONHALL, NEAR WIGTON) (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Kelly Communications to carry out utility works ("the Works), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour along that section of the C2060 Lessonhall, near Wigton from a point approx. 275m south of its [unction with the C2050 extending in a southerly then south westerly direction for approx. 125m. No speed limit imposed by this Order will apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.

The Order will come into operation on 18 September 2019 and may continue in force for a period of up to eighteen months from that date as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 3 days.
