THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (VARIOUS ROADS, ALLONBY) (TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public ("the Works), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour along the following sections of road:-

(i) C20I3, Salta Road, from its {unction with the B5300, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 2km;



(ii) C20I3, Mawbray, from its junction with tJie B5300, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 5km to its junction with the B530I;



(iii) C20I8, Edderside, from its junction with the B5300, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 4.4km to its junction with the C2019;

(iv) C20I9, Holme St Cuthbert, from its junction with the B530I extending in a south westerly, then north westerly direction for approx. 2.5km to its junction with the C2013;



(v) U2038, from its junction with the C20I9, extending in a south westerly direction for approx 440m;



(vi) The unadopted section of road, from its junction with the C20I8, extending in a north westerly direction for approx 570m, passed Plasketlands Farm to its junction with the U2038. N. B. This follows 2 emergency notices dated 25 April 2019 and 16 May 2019.



No speed limit imposed by this Order will apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
