TWO women have been arrested after another woman had her bag stolen in a street robbery.
Police said the victim, 26, suffered minor injuries in an attack on Pennine Way in Harraby, Carlisle.
It happened at about 5.50pm yesterday. Two women suspects, aged 37 and 21, were in custody today being interviewed by officers.
Police have appealed for information as they continue their investigations.
“Anybody who saw any type of disorder at about this time or knows anything that might be relevant to the inquiry is asked to contact Carlisle CID,” said a force spokesman. Call officers on 101.
