The well-known Ulverston hair stylist has opened her new salon, Helena’s Studio One, in Theatre Street, and she is glad to be back in business.

With 23 years in the industry there’s little Ms Fayyazi, who previously worked at Ebony, doesn’t know about hair dressing, along with her team Sally Wearing, who has 16 years of experience, and Clair Wilson, a colour technician with 21 years of experience. As a result the team is able to offer cutting edge styles and the latest colouring techniques in a relaxed environment.

Ms Fayyazi said: “It’s nice to be back in a more personal environment.

“Our customers get a one-to-one service from the door and we don’t have juniors. We have a lot of experience and we have complimentary refreshments available.”

Appointments at the salon aren’t necessary and Ms Fayyazi is looking to welcome old and new customers alike.

The salon opens from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 6.30pm and late night appointments are available on Fridays up to 8.30pm.

She said: “It’s a nice and modern salon with a real warm feel to it.

“We’ve got a strong close team and we’re a really strong team. We’d like to apologise to some of our customers who we haven’t been able to get in touch with. We’re looking to welcome all customers, old and new.”
