The aftermath of Storm Desmond which battered Cumbria over the weekend with torrential rain and gale force winds. The force and amount of water has caused chaos washing roads away and flooding properties. Glenridding on the shores of Ullswater clean up after floodwater from Glenridding Beck overflowed into the village bringing with it thousands of tons of stone, boulders and silt.
