Roads across Cumbria reopen after yesterday's storms.

The Whitehaven Harbour wall sustained damage and the area had been cordoned off.

A HGV was recovered from the M6 between Junction 44 and 45 after an incident.

BAE Systems in Barrow was forced to cancel its flights at Walney Airfield yesterday due to the adverse weather.

The A66 re-opened yesterday following the earlier precautionary closure by Durham Constabulary to high-sided vehicles.
