Revamped South Cumbria firm promises better customer service

ONE of South Cumbria’s best known legal firms has undergone a major makeover.
Poole Townsend, a company of solicitors, estate agents and independent financial advisers, has now undergone an external rebrand described as a new “outer skin” by bosses.
Behind the scenes, the firm is striving to reinvent itself in terms of customer service and the technology used in the office. The firm has also introduced a new strapline to sum up its direction: “Turn to Poole Townsend”.
Partner Peter Yates said: “This rebranding exercise is not just about producing a new logo and property boards. This is just one of the processes. You should think of the logo and property boards as the new outer skin, the one people can see.
“Clients will start to experience everything else that is taking place, from improved customer service to the implementation of new technology.”
Derek Pearce, head of financial services and non-legal partner, added: “We have been looking at all the ways we communicate and express ourselves both internally and externally.
“We started this process two years ago and today we are unveiling one of the smallest elements of a professionally developed rebranding programme.
“The property boards will start to go up in Barrow this week and will then roll out to all other areas across Furness and the South Lakes over the coming weeks.
“The new logo and branding will ensure there is no confusion as to the complete services we offer and clearly defines the three divisions, legal, financial and property.
“Our new logo communicates who and what we are and what we do and is easily understood by our audiences.”

With the new boards it is hard to see which company is doing the selling and what the words within the coloured speech bubbles say.
Logos do not communicate 'who we are' people do that. A company with a history like Pooles should understand this but apparently not!Posted by Tony on 6 February 2013 at 19:53
