Sellafield is set to hold its first-ever directors forum next month.

It will highlight the future opportunities at Sellafield which will be coming up at the site and will give people the chance to talk to managers and teams, who will explain how businesses can get involved.

Emma-Jayne Gooch, Sellafield's senior supply chain manager, said: “Ensuring opportunities at Sellafield are accessible to a wide range of businesses is a priority for us.

“We are transforming the way we do business and improving communication with the supply chain is key to this.

“The directors’ forum gives businesses of all sizes and types a unique opportunity to talk directly to the teams running some of the most important projects on the site.

“We will also be discussing our new supply chain strategy and partnering opportunities, and showcasing the successes of suppliers involved in our major projects.”

The event can accommodate only 300 people and will be held at Energus, Lillyhall, on September 28.
