Nestlé have announced that Stefano Agostini will become the new chief executive of the company in the UK and Ireland next month.
Mr Agnosti is currently the chief executive and president of Nestlé Waters Italy and will succeed Dame Fiona Kendrick, who will become the UK company's chairman (corr).
The Swiss giant has a factory in Dalston.
The company's plant there employs 330 people and has been on the outskirts of the village since 1952.
It processes 65m litres of milk each year and almost one billion sachets of Nescafé Café Menu products.
In April the company reported a sales increase of 0.4 per cent from £16.34bn (20.9bn swiss francs) to £16.42 (21bn Swiss francs) in the first three months.
This announcement came after it reported a drop in profits for the whole year to February and made a commitment to make "significant" cost cutting over the next three years.
