Miss Haines, 19, who lives in Barrow, was delighted with the win but graciously said it belonged to the whole team at Ulverston.
"I was nominated by my manager Terry Sandham for my involvement in a steriles project worth £57m," she said.
"I don't see it as me winning the award, it's for everyone based at GSK in Ulverston."
Danyelle started her manufacturing apprenticeship at GSK in 2015 after completing a medical science qualification.
GSK Ulverston, a partner of Choose Cumbria, congratulated Danyelle after she was announced as the winner.
