H&H Reeds Printers has purchased a new "high-performance" piece of equipment.
Its new Mimaki Flatbed Printer is capable of directly printing, in high definition, onto media up to 50mm thick and onto irregular materials such as glass, plastic, wood and stone. This will allow the firm - with offices in Penrith and Milnthorpe - to be more efficient and attract new customers.
Andy Jackson, managing director, said: “We are delighted with the purchase of this new and exciting technology. This cutting edge machinery will elevate us to the top level of signage manufacturing.
"The Mimaki flatbed printer enables us to expand the range of products and services we are able to offer, and we expect to see an increase in our productivity using this method of printing, making us very competitive in the market place. Increasingly people are looking for innovative printing methods across a variety of materials, so our investment in this new technology will be exciting news for our customers.”
