Businesses are being reminded to take part in a research project which will shed light on the professional services sector in Cumbria - and be in with the chance of winning £1,900 of advertising with in-Cumbria magazine.

PR and marketing agency 32West has joined forces with Armstrong Watson and in-Cumbria to help understand the nuances of the sector across its many disciplines.

The partnership follows an announcement in September by Carlisle MP John Stevenson, that a Professional Services Association is to be launched in the county.

A questionnaire which seeks to understand activity related to professional services businesses was launched last month.

One lucky business which completes it is in line for a free £1,900 advertising package in in-Cumbria magazine.

The survey is aimed at all businesses which use a professional services sector business, or are operating in the sector themselves.

The initiative is being supported by accountants Armstrong Watson, with the business signed up as one of the founder members.

Further detail of the proposals around the Professional Services Association - Cumbria, will be revealed later this year.
