Times newspaper to host Cumbrian business event

Business leaders are being given the opportunity to discuss and share ideas about the future of West Cumbria and its ambitions as Britain’s Energy Coast at an event hosted by the Times newspaper.
Business leaders are being given the opportunity to discuss and share ideas about the future of West Cumbria and its ambitions as Britain’s Energy Coast at an event hosted by the Times newspaper.
The Times Britain’s Energy Coast Forum will be chaired by Times journalist Magnus Linklater, and will bring together business leaders and elected representatives from around the county.
It takes place on March 19th at Energus, Lillyhall, from 1.30pm - 5pm and will be followed by networking opportunities and wine and nibbles.
The event will showcase the fantastic opportunities and discuss the challenges that lie ahead as West Cumbria looks to build a robust and diverse economy for a low carbon future.
The theme of the event is understanding, creating and maximising opportunities for your business in West Cumbria, and developing your business culture, strategy and partnerships in order to achieve this.
Guest speaker Deirdre Bounds has been voted as one of the North's top 100 entrepreneurs, she is recognised as being in the top 50 influencers in the region.
Welcome coffee or tea available from 1pm, and places for this event are limited.
