Dog mess is to be turned into electricity in a pioneering scheme that aims to collect an eye-watering four tonnes of waste a day across just one county.
And Cumbria is said to be one of the areas interested in developing the idea.

When Callie Rogers won £1.9million on the lottery aged 16, a happy future seemed assured.
However, the teenager's jackpot win left her life in tatters after she squandered it on drugs and partying.
