The firm partnered with Leeds based graphic design company Split for their latest project.

Hydrant were commissioned to build the website for Dizzee Rascal on behalf of Universal Music, one of the UK’s leading music companies who manage the high profile rapper.

The site promotes the new album ‘The Fifth’ marking the artists 10th year as a high profile figure in the UK

Hydrant are specialists in open source management systems including Drupal, which was used for the build of the website which also adapts to work on tablets and mobile phones.

The website features custom animation to provide a unique approach to site navigation.

The site is highly integrated with social media to facilitate Google Hangouts and includes Instagram, YouTube and Twitter feeds with the ability to login using social media.

Leo White, managing director of Hydrant said: “Building a website for an artist like Dizzee Rascal is a really great opportunity for us at Hydrant.

"The site had an interesting brief and meant working with our friends at Split and allowed our developers to put their skillset to best use.

"We are pleased to be able to work with such a high profile artist and to build a site that fully uses social media and pulls in content from all over the web.”

Rachel Murray, Digital Marketing Consultant added: "We work with Split on a lot of projects and are quite close to them, which is how the work came about.

"The social media aspect of the brief meant that it was totally unique. We are capable of doing a huge range of websites, as this one proves."
