The growth guru Tom Edge is speaking at a business lunch at Lakes College, Lillyhall, next month.

He promises to reveal the secrets of achieving double-digit growth, even in a recession.

The Midlands-based businessman runs a consultancy, Tom Edge Training Projects, that has helped more than 30,000 businesses to start-up, survive and prosper over three decades.

He has overcome adversity, having suffered redundancy four times, which led him to set up his own business.

He will explain how certain disciplines can help organisations prosper despite hard trading conditions.

He said: “As the economy slides the doom-mongers are making it worse. Yet there are businesses in the UK, from all sorts of industries, who are doubling their growth year on year.”

Liz Parkes, commercial development officer at Lakes College, said: “Tom has run growth seminars and workshops all over the UK. Businesses like what he has to say.

“His seminars are practical and down to earth and he delivers them with a sprinkle of Black Country humour.”

The event is on Thursday, February 28 midday.
