BEST WESTERN Castle Green Hotel in Kendal is set in 14 acres of natural gardens and woodlands yet only five minutes from M6 and 10 minutes from The Lake District and boasts a full range of conference facilities.
The hotel boasts a six-room dedicated conference and training centre accommodating between two to 80 delegates. The centre is located in the original part of the building,with high ceilings, natural daylight, air conditioning and conference lounge for refreshment breaks.
We also have two purpose built function rooms accommodating 40 to 250 delegates. Our Kendal Suite has its own foyer area and terrace, ideal for mid-sized conferences, formal dinners and BBQs. Our Function House provides 300 square metres of floor space with no pillars – perfect for large conferences, product launches, exhibitions and gala dinners.
We operate a ‘no hidden extras’ policy so conference organisers can be assured that everything, even vat, is included in our 24 hour and day delegate rates. So excluding bar bills and incidental extras there will be no surprises from contract to invoice.
Our 24 hour and day delegate rates include room hire, all equipment – LCD Projector, screen, unlimited flipcharts, CD/DVD Player, PA System - complimentary wi-fi connection, pads, pens, sweets, water and complimentary car parking.
We have dedicated conference hosts who can help with all aspects of the event on the day from photocopying to technical support, to ensure your meeting is a complete success.
We can even assist with team building at our on site ropes course. Vertical Air which is set in the woods behind the hotel is a fantastic resource easily added to an event as a fun element or an integral part of your day.
The Hotel also has a choice of dining with our 2 AA rosette Greenhouse Restaurant and Alexanders, our traditional Westmorland Pub in the grounds. Those wishing to stay overnight will be accommodated in one of our 99 bedrooms and enjoy complimentary membership to Pulse, Health and Fitness.
