CUMBRIAN companies looking for advice on how to grow are being invited to attend a free event to help the region’s brightest small and medium sized businesses to achieve their full growth potential.

Several of the county’s business leaders will be sharing their secrets of growth at the GrowthAccelerator event on March 7 at Rheged, near in Penrith.

At the breakfast event, companies with the potential of consistent high growth will have the opportunity to join the £200m GrowthAccelerator service, which gives them access to a national network of expert advice.

A panel of experts will include Adam Wellings, commercial director, AST Signs; Adrian Rawlinson, MD and owner, Marl International; Mark R Whitehead MBE, MD of the Hawkshead Relish Company; Jeni Banks, managing director, May Fifteen; Brian Dormand, Winning Pitch; Richard Rankin, head of corporate finance at accountants Armstrong Watson; David Colclough, Business Growth Fund; and John R Ainsworth, of Barclays.

Places for the breakfast event are free but spaces are restricted so anyone wanting to attend is asked to go to www.growthaccelerator.com to register.

The event is due to run from 8am to 9.30am.
