A Kendal-based solicitors is providing legal support for music legend Rod Stewart.

Harrison Drury has helped the star in securing a string of gigs.

Working with Cuffe and Taylor, award-winning concert promoters and event managers, the firm has advised on its legal agreements with venues on his 2016 tour.

The company has also proved instrumental in securing the contractual agreement with Cuffe and Taylor and the global star for his latest series of performances.

Stewart will perform eight outdoor concerts across the UK, including at Carlisle’s Brunton Park , as part of his Hits tour in June next year.

David Edwards, associate solicitor at Harrison Drury, is excited by the work with Cuffe and Taylor and figuring deals with one of the biggest names in show business.

Harrison Drury has also worked with Cuffe and Taylor on a number of deals recently, including a new five-year contract with Europe’s largest open air theatre.

The agreement sees Cuffe and Taylor exclusively programme a number of high-profile events at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, with Simply Red already confirmed to perform at the venue in August 2016.
