RADIOWORKS is officially opening its new Carlisle premises this week.

The advertising agency’s new premises are in Victoria Place. It was previously at Warwick Mill, Warwick Bridge.

Set up in 1990, the group opened a Cumbrian office 16 years ago where 10 of its 40 staff are based.

RadioWorks’ head office is in London. It plans and buys radio time across the commercial radio portfolio, and is the sixth biggest commercial radio spender in the UK, with billings of more than £20m.

Emma Hill, group media director said: “We have had a base in Carlisle since 2000 and we are very proud of the business we’ve built here.

"It’s ultimately down to the dedication and determination of the fantastic team of people we are fortunate enough to employ, and the enthusiasm from our chief executive and founder, Michael Charnley-Heaton, to establish our office here in Carlisle”.

The Cumbrian team was shortlisted in three categories at the Carlisle Living Awards in 2015 where Emma Hill was named 'best boss'.
