A NEW alternative corporate retreat company is set to launch in the Lake District next month.

Eat Sleep Work Retreat is set to launch in May, by offering retreats in Crosthwaite Mill near Kendal and Fallbarrow Hall in Windermere.

The firm offers companies the chance to work creatively and be part of an experience that will leave a lasting fingerprint on their organisation.

Eat Sleep Work Retreat offers businesspeople characterful corporate spaces and Lakeland scenery as well as offering activities such as private lake cruises, windsurfing, yoga and meditation.

John Bibby, project manager for Eat Sleep Work Retreat, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time.

“So many months of hard work and meticulous preparation are now coming to fruition and we can’t wait to launch the two exclusive-use retreat properties.

“We are very proud to be bringing something different to the Lake District and to really be making the most of the exceptional landscape and the great relaxation and exhilaration activities it has to offer.”

Crosthwaite Mill is a preserved 18th century corn mill, set in the secluded Lyth Valley.

The building also boasts a huge original waterwheel and grindstones, adding to the ambience of this idyllic space.

Fallbarrow Hall is in the ideal locale for both exploring interesting and adventurous morale building activities as well as admiring spectacular views across Britain’s largest lake.
