THE latest arrival on Barrow's legal scene hosted a reception this week to mark the opening of its new office at Phoenix Business Centre.
Progression Solicitors opened what is its fourth office earlier this month. It already has a presence in Windermere, Ulverston and Grange-over-Sands.
The Barrow office is headed by Matthew Ratcliffe, one of the company’s rising stars. At just 32, he has already held a directorship for two years and has a long line of successful cases behind him.
Managing director Anthony Smith said: “Watching people fulfil their potential is one of the best bits of running our own firm.
“Matthew was the natural choice for Barrow. It has thriving business and industry sectors and he is a fantastic commercial litigator.”
Building contractor Bryn Clark was among the guests at the launch.
He said: “There’s lots of opportunity here for the right people. It’s excellent to see a flourishing business coming and recognising Barrow for its successes.”
