A Kendal estate agent has been shortlisted for ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at a national awards ceremony.
Paige McNaughton, who works for Poole Townsend, is a contender at the National Federation of Property Professionals Awards to be held in London next month.
The category is open to employees between the age of of 18 and 24 who complete the necessary learning and qualifications.
It takes into account the contribution they make to their employer..
Mrs McNaughton will find out on May 13 at London Banking Hall if she has won.
Angela Cornthwaite, head of property at Poole Townsend, was delighted at Paige’s nomination and praised her commitment.
She said: “Poole Townsend has always been committed to their teams training and development and have encouraged staff members to take the technical award for a number of years.
“I believe that it allows staff to gain significant knowledge which can then be used to guide our customers through the process of selling or letting houses.
“I am delighted that Paige has been shortlisted for this prestigious national award that recognises her commitment.
“She is a dedicated and hard working member of our successful Kendal property team - we are all keeping our fingers crossed that she does well on the night.”
