Recruitment firm Driver Hire has been named as one of the best workplaces in the UK.

The company - which has an office in Montgomery Way, Rosehill, Carlisle - is ranked 51st in the annual Great Place to Work list of the best workplace cultures.

Its office in Carlisle is one of a network of more than 100 offices across the UK and the firm supplies commercial vehicle drivers to logistics providers and fulfils nearly a million shifts a year.

Driver Hire was recognised for its strong workplace culture of integrity and respect, commitment to staff welfare, rigorous hiring procedures and employee engagement and development.
