A Cumbrian restaurant has been named the UK's greatest.
Simon Rogan L'Enclume, in Cartmel, run by Simon Rogan, has been named "the UK's greatest restaurant" in the Good Food Guide for the third year in a row.
Award winners from the 2016 Good Food Guide were today revealed ahead of the launch of its 65th anniversary issue.
Operated by Waitrose, The Good Food Guide, is a guide to the best restaurants and eateries across Britain.
This is the third year in a row that L'Enclume, which also secured four years of perfect ten scores, has taken the top spot.
It is described as "the UK's greatest restaurant" and "an unassuming location for an undoubted pinnacle of the new British cooking".
