A DOCUMENT outlining the huge potential in Copeland will be launched to business owners, investors and entrepreneurs next Friday.
Copeland's Growth Strategy sets out opportunities arising from investment of up to £90bm set to flow into the borough over 20 years.
Mayor Mike Starkie and MP Jamie Reed MP will speak at the launch, and try to promote the business and lifestyle opportunities available in the area.
The event takes place at Muncaster Castle Old Laundry from 10am to 12 noon.
Mr Starkie said: “Copeland is set to benefit from the biggest investment in Europe across a range of industries, attracting up to 6,000 new workers and their families to the region.
"We want the world to know that Copeland is a destination for business and a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family."
Mr Reed added: “Copeland’s best days are ahead of us."
