THERE are new owners in charge at Cornerways guest house in Carlisle.
The 14-bedroom establishment in Warwick Road has been sold.
Vendors Steve and Be Coggan are semi-retiring but will continue to live in the Carlisle area. The buyers are a local couple, Michael and Adele Forster.
The Grade-II listed guest house had been on the market at £415,000 with the specialist Cumbrian hotel and licensed property agent, Mere Commercial.
Duncan Young, director of Mere Commercial, said: “This is an excellent sale both for our client and from our perspective as it demonstrates that this firm is now established as a leading agent in this sector.”
He added: “Cornerways is a splendid Victorian town house situated in a Conservation Area just a few minutes’ walk from the main shopping area.
"The business has an all-year round trade from both commercial and leisure visitors.”
